A credit note is used to refund money to a customer when a payment has been made. To create a credit note, you must consider that the amount of a credit note cannot be greater than the amount received and captured.
Go to the AccountReceivable listing, select the client from the list and click on the edit button.
Once on the account receivable module go to the Credit Note tab and complete the information that is required.
IMPORTANT! Once a credit note is “Captured” it cannot be modified or edited.
A receipt will be created after a credit note has been captured. You can download the PDF or send the receipt by email.
